Using LUT's for videos is like using presets in Adobe Lightroom - more often than not you want to tweak your settings to get the desired look. However, LUT's make for great starting points and can make color grading a much quicker and easier process. I suggest that if a certain LUT looks a bit intense, play around with the intensity.
